ABSHERON LOGISTICS CENTER
Located at the center of the historic Silk Road, Absheron Logistics Center is the first private logistics center in Azerbaijan to be international certification, operate in accordance with international standards, and be integrated into the country's logistics network. Absheron Logistics Center commenced operations on August 13, 2018. The Center is located in Lokbatan settlement, Garadagh district of Baku, Azerbaijan. Convenient and efficient road connections provide direct access from the terminal to major road transportation routes, enabling the rapid delivery of cargo to its destination. Equipped with advanced technologies, strong infrastructure facilities, and high-quality services that meet modern requirements, the Center offers secure, fast, and sustainable logistics support. The “Absheron” freight railway station, operating under Absheron Logistics Center, has been assigned the international station code 548004 by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
Covering an area of 65.7 hectares, the Center provides container handling, railway wagon operations, customs clearance, brokerage, terminal services, storage, office rental, transportation, and 3PL services. Import, export, and transit customs procedures are carried out by the customs authorities located within the Center's premises.
A high level of efficient and reliable service is provided through a single-window system. The main purpose of this system is to deliver a range of services, which would otherwise be provided at separate locations, through a single point of service, thereby saving time and reducing costs.
The Center's operations are managed through an automated software system, covering the entire logistics process - from the receipt of wagons and containers to the delivery of cargo to its final destination. The software used at the Center is integrated with the systems of Azerbaijan Railways and the State Customs Committee, enabling seamless and transparent services for businesses in accordance with the principles of the single-window system. This, in turn, enhances operational efficiency by facilitating the exchange of data between the State Customs Committee and Azerbaijan Railways.
